Attention all drivers on highways (Autobahn) inside Austria: A new law in Austria will go into effect by January, 1st. Form an emergency corridor as soon as traffic ceases to progress and congestion is imminent on motorways or dual carriageways and highways regardless of whether emergency vehicles are already in the vicinity or not.
How it works

Intention
By forming an emergency corridor (Rettungsgasse), emergency forces are able to reach an accient much faster.
Penalty
If you don't form an emergency corridor penalties may apply. Besides that you may risk heavy casualties.
