Beijing - Here we are!
Hello folks! Finally we are in China! I hardly can't believe that and still I guess I don't realized that ;-) It is awesome. The city is extremly big and AMAZING. We are extremly jet lagged, we slept now the hole (chinease-) day and just got up and it's almost 18.00 o'clock here! Anyways we will start to explore the city! Louie, a mutal friend of Andras, picked us up from the airport and helped us a lot! So far, from Beijing, China - Dominik

China here we come!
Sorry for not posting for a while, but I've been busy and had to organize! Tomorrow in the morning, I will fly to China. I will fly with my friend Iwona there. On our roadmap we have: Beijing, the Great Wall, Xi'an, Shanghai, Guilin, Hong Kong and back to Beijing - Which is about a 6.000km travel within China - In total it is 26.000km! I am really excited I don't think I can sleep this night :-D My camera is loaded, batteries are charged, my stuff is packed! China here we come!

Kino: Star Trek XI
Hab mir mit Stefan am Mittwoch den neuen Star Trek XI Kinofilm angesehen. Obwohl kontrovärs diskutiert, handelt es sich um eine gelungene Fortsetzung (eigentlich "Vorsetzung") einer jahrzehnte alten Legende. Der Film ist auch für nicht eingefleischte Trekkies problemlos, da kein "Vorwissen" benötigt ist. Ich vergebe dem Film 9 von 10 möglichen Punkten. Wobei ich ehrlicherweise eingestehen muss, dass ich der Trekkie-Gemeinde angehöre :-)

Von Sozialisten, Kommunisten & Grünen
15.000 Gewerkschafter unter anderen Grüne, Kommunisten, Sozialisten und Marxisten trafen heute laut Polizei vor der Wirtschaftskammer Österreich ein. Sie skandierten mit populistischen Rufen und Kampfparolen auf Plakaten und forderten von einer ohnehin bereits geschwächten Wirtschaft mehr Geld. Völlig unklar ist mir, was sie damit bezwecken wollen: Denn wenn die Unternehmen kein Geld mehr haben, aber die Gewerkschafter mehr Geld fordern, führt dies zum Konkurs & Arbeitslosigkeit. Exploring Cyprus
Together with my friend Iwona, I flew to Cyprus. We arrived there very early in the morning. The first two days we stayed in the North, which is the Turkish part of the island and the other three days in the Greek part. Because we rented a car we could explore the whole lovely island. (By the way they drive on the left!) We saw the coastline and the mountains!
